Sussex County Sunflower Maze

About Us

Experience the beauty that Northern New Jersey has to offer. The Sussex County Sunflower Maze is New Jersey's original sunflower maze. We began planting our flowers in 2011 to form the first sunflower maze in the state, and we are now the largest sunflower maze on the East Coast!

Make sure you bring your camera! Over 1.5 million sunflowers greet our visitors every single year, ranging from all different colors and sizes. Our farm is also home to unique wildlife as well as other native flora that photographers are welcome to photograph. Be sure to tag your photos #sunflowersnj!

The Sussex County Sunflower Maze also offers activities for the kids, such as picking flowers, scavenger hunts, bug safari tours, and build-your-own scarecrow contests. Along with our gorgeous sunflowers, we offer seasonal farm-fresh produce including our gourmet sweet corn, award-winning Hardneck garlic, eggplant, potatoes, herbs, flowers, lavender, and more! Each year, thousands of people from near and far make their yearly adventure through our beautiful sunflowers. We invite you to join us in creating long-lasting family memories and a new yearly tradition.

We are part of the Jersey Grown Program and New Jersey Audubon's S.A.V.E Program (Support Agricultural Viability and the Environment). We have also partnered with NRCS/USDA and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife to enhance our farm's wildlife and environmental practices. We are committed to sustainable farming and our environment.

Peak blooming season begins in mid to late August and lasts through mid-September.
