These are the following topics that were discussed in this class and what I learned throughout the semester
HTML
We learned the basic syntax of Hypertext Markup Language, or HTML. We used W3Schools to learn HTML basics such as tags, headings, colors and formatting. These basics are what we used to create our web pages.
Web Design
We learned various topics regarding the process of designing a website such as:
Correct color and font usage
User Interface (UI) and the User Experience (UX)
Graphics Standards of King's College
CIS Podcast
We each did a podcast segment for the school's radio:
GIS Day
This class introduced my to GIS, as I have never heaard of it before. GIS is an acronym for Geographic Information Systems and they are used for collecting and analyzing geographical data.
CodePen
We learned about Codepen, a website used for sharing HTML, CSS and Javascript code. The neon effects for the contact buttons on the homepage were from CodePen.
Pixlr
While we didn't really talk about Pixlr, I've been using Pixlr to edit pictures for years. Pixlr is a good picture editing app for mobile that while not as advanced as Photoshop can still be used for basic photo editing.
I've used Pixlr to make both neat pictures and dumb memes.
