During my academic career at King's College I began working for The Crown student newspaper my freshman and sophomore years as an occassional writer. During my junior year I became the Features Editor and will continue as that role for my senior year. I have written articles for the paper ranging from Superbowl predictions, campus activities to a heartfelt editorial about my experience with the Virginia Tech Massacre.

I have taken courses at King's ranging from Magazine Article Writing, Advertising for Print and Electronic News and Information Gathering. I have been heavily involved with making advertisements for the Media Club from audition posters to activities posters. Recently I won second place for my advertisement for the Wilkes-Barre, PA Victims Resource Center to create awareness of sexual assault and rape.

I was the first Editor of the King's College Mass Communications newsletter The Connection. I wrote editorials, assigned articles, and generated headlines. I was published in the January/February and March/April 2007 issues of Young Money Magazine. I have goals of continuing my freelance career and expand into various markets.
