Storylines:
Big Show and The Great Khali have a big stare down.
JBL wants his title back.  Damn shame he doesn’t want his microphone back from Coachman instead.
I already miss Ric Flair.  WOO!!!!

Highlight:
A reunited Four Horsemen, along with 36 years worth of wrestlers honor The Man.  A great send off for The Nature Boy.

Matches:
John Cena def. Triple H and JBL
Paul London & Brian Kendrick def. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch
Beth Phoenix def. Maria
Ashley & Mickey James def. Melina and Jillian
Umaga def. Val Venis
Triple H def. Orton and JBL
Santino Marella & Carlito def. Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhoades (non-title)

Storylines:
HBK and Batista shared some thoughts about Ric Flair on Jericho’s Highlight Reel.       Batista SMASH!
JTG and Shad of Cryme Tyme are straight up thugs, yo.  Why are 90% of the conflicts in this sport determined by race?
Through a pair of handicap match victories, HHH and Cena are added to the main event at Backlash.

Highlight:
Cena has another title shot, sure.  But it was fun watching The Game hand it to him.  HHH doesn’t give a shit about anything, and if I were a betting man, I’d say he walks out of Backlash with a new belt.

4/14/08

Matches:
JBL vs. HHH no contest
Chris Jericho def. Umaga (IC title defense)
Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix (new Women’s Champion!)
Santino Marella & Carlito def. Paul London & Brian Kendrick
JTG def. Trevor Murdoch
Paul Burchill def. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Randy Orton def. William Regal

Storylines:
Jericho turned turned bad guy, so Shawn Michaels kicked him in the face.  Look for him to ref the HBK Batista match at Backlash.
Marella and Carlito are the number one contenders in a surprisingly deep tag team division, even if the Highlanders kinda went to TNA.  Long enough to get them in trouble
King of the Ring is back! Kinda!

Highlight:  The Women’s and Tag Team divisions are really being pushed lately, and with a lot of success.  It’s a hell of a lot more exciting than the upcoming repeat of Wrestlemania’s main event
