The Week in Review 4/21/08-4/27/08: Over the previous 7 days the Phillies took a western road trip to Denver, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh. The concluded the trip wth a 5-2 record. The Sixers are hanging tough with the 2nd seed Detroit Pistons. The series is tied at 2 games a piece with game 5 to be played in Detroit later this week. The Flyers are continuing to play outstanding hockey they sit in the conference semis tied at 1 game a piece with game 3 slated for Monday at 7PM at the Wachovia Center. The Eagles had a successful plan for the future. They traded away some first round picks and acquired a few more. Most notably they added DT Trevor Laws from Notre Dame and WR DeSean Jackson from California.

The Week in Review 4/13/08-4/20/08: Over the last 7 days the Phillies have been struggling placing two starters on the DL (Rollins and Victorino). However, they did salvage a game on the Mets Sunday night. The Flyers are looking to move on to the 2nd round of NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. They currently lead the Capitals 3-2 in the best of 7 series which continues Monday April 21st. The Sixers got off to a hot start in the NBA Playoffs stealing game one from a heavily favored much more experienced Pistons squad.

The Week in Review 4/6/08-4/12/08: In the past week there has been some on going developments in Philadelphia sports. The Flyers are gearing up to face the Washington Capitals on April 11 at 7:05. The Phillies just ended a 7-game road trip in which they ended up 3-4, spliting a four game series with the Reds and losing two of three to the much hated Mets. They look to avenge those losses against the Cubs this weekend. Also they look to get Jimmy Rollins back. The Sixers keep looking better and better. They sit with a playoff berth seeding to be determined, but they played very well against the Pistons the current two seed the other night in Philadelphia.
