The United Cerebral Palsy Association is

"a valued business providing innovative services to empower everyone to attain their highest quality of life by encouraging risks for success!"

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) offers day services for adults with various developmental and physical disabilities.  Close to 100 clients come daily to receive health care, to work on life goals they have established, and to socialize with others.  volunteers assist clients and works with arts and crafts projects  and other programs.

The purposes of this corporation are:
  • to promote the general welfare of persons with developmental and/or physical handicaps or other disabilities.
  • to plan, promote, and assist in the establishment, maintenance and operation of training centers or clinics for the educational, social and physical betterment of all such persons.
  • to aid in research for prevention and treatment of developmental disabilities and other handicaps to the greatest extent possible.
  • to sponsor an educational campaign whereby the general public will be appraised of the abilities and interests of our program participants.
  • to provide a clearinghouse of information which may be of great value and interest to our clients, their parents, families, and friends.
