Dinner For 12 |
| When the Offices of Volunteer Services and Multicultural & International
Affairs created a home in the Sherrer House just a few years ago, they shared a common vision of creating a welcoming
place in which an appreciation for diversity and the examination of social
justice issues would be fostered. Dinner for Twelve began as a response to this vision. The Sherrer House staff believed that by inviting a diverse and open group of people to the house for a meal, they would nurture a safe environment for the discussion of any social issue of interest. Since that time, many groups of twelve students, faculty, staff, and community members have shared in this evening of nourishment for both the body and soul. We hope that our guests at Dinner for Twelve leave the Sherrer House feeling challenged and supported to lead just and loving lives as considerate and aware people. |
