The Office of Volunteer Services

The Office of Volunteer Services (OVS) is an extension of Campus Ministry that provides opportunities for King's students to serve others through volunteer service.

Many students find that acting on their faith through service to those in need is a healthy compliment to college life.  Campus Ministry believes that this is the very same message of the Gospel, and that it should not be confined solely to the celebration of the mass.  The OVS is responsible for providing opportunities for students to live their faith through volunteer service.

OVS works to find placements that best suit the interests and talents of each student.

The Office of Volunteer Services, helps to create awareness of social justice issues that surround students in their everyday life by organizing annual events on campus such as Hunger for Justice Week and Campuses that Care Week.  Students are also encouraged to participate in community projects such as the annual walks, "Make a difference day" and Toys for Tots programs.
