Marinara Sauce

1/4 cup of olive oil
4 cloves of garlic
1 35oz can of imported Italian tomatoes, Italian San Marzano tomatoes preferred
3 basil chopped leaves
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
salt & pepper to taste

  1. Mix garlic and cup of olive oil into large pan on stove.
  2. Turn heat on to medium and cook until garlic softens and lightly browns.
  3. Squeeze tomatoes and add to pan.
  4. Add seasoning (feel free to add your own) basil leaves, oregano, salt & pepper.
  5. Wait until boil, lower heat and cook for 20-25 min.
