2 pounds of ripe sliced tomatoes
1 pound fresh sliced mozzarella
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
5 to 8 fresh basil leaves
salt and pepper to taste
- Position tomato slices on platter.
- Add a piece of fresh mozzarella on top of every tomato.
- Sprinkle extra-virgin olive oil over mozzarella
- Add basil leaves, season and serve.
