Caprese Salad

2 pounds of ripe sliced tomatoes
1 pound fresh sliced mozzarella
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
5 to 8 fresh basil leaves
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Position tomato slices on platter.
  2. Add a piece of fresh mozzarella on top of every tomato.
  3. Sprinkle extra-virgin olive oil over mozzarella
  4. Add basil leaves, season and serve.
