May 2005: Awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Systems with a focus on Human Computer Interaction from The Pennsylvania State University. Thesis chaired by Dr. Barbara Grabowski investigated initiation strategies for online discourse. In this thesis I developed a model for using initiation strategies in discussion boards and online forums.
Internship: designed and produced the King’s College Interactive video disc for the Admissions office. Used Toolbook to create an interactive experience for incoming students and their families. Shot and edited all video. Wrote all code to have program talk to the remote control device.
